Byline Policy

At ClearPointDispatch, we believe readers deserve to know who is behind the reporting. To strengthen trust and accountability, every article must include:

Required Elements

• Full Name of the author (no anonymous bylines except in rare cases of safety/security).

• Role/Title (e.g., Staff Reporter, Opinion Columnist, Guest Contributor).

• Publication Date (and “Updated” if revised).

• Link to Author Page – each byline links to a dedicated author profile.

Guest Contributors

• Must be clearly labeled as “Guest Contributor” or “Opinion Columnist.”

• Editorial staff reviews all guest submissions before publication.

Corrections/Clarifications

• If a correction is made, it must be noted in the article under the byline.
