Advertising & Sponsored Content Policy
Effective Date: September 7, 2025
ClearPointDispatch relies on advertising and partnerships to sustain independent journalism. We are committed to keeping a clear separation between editorial and commercial content.
Our commitment is to clarity and honesty — in news and in advertising.
1. Separation of News and Advertising
-
Editorial content and advertising are strictly separated.
-
Advertisers and sponsors have no influence over editorial decisions, story selection, or reporting.
-
Journalists and editors do not accept gifts, favors, or incentives that could compromise integrity.
2. Labeling of Sponsored Content
-
Sponsored or paid content will always be clearly labeled as “Sponsored,” “Advertisement,” “Partner Content,” or “Paid Post.”
-
Such content will be visually distinct from editorial news articles.
-
Readers will always know when they are viewing advertising.
3. Native Advertising & Partnerships
-
Native ads or branded content must be transparently disclosed.
-
Any partnerships or collaborations that involve content production will include clear sponsor attribution.
4. Standards for Advertisers
We reserve the right to reject ads that:
-
Contain false, misleading, or deceptive claims.
-
Promote hate speech, violence, or discrimination.
-
Include offensive, adult, or inappropriate material.
-
Conflict with our mission of delivering trustworthy news.
5. Political and Issue-Based Advertising
-
Political advertising will be accepted only if it complies with applicable laws and disclosure requirements.
-
Such ads will be clearly labeled as “Political Advertisement.”
6. Reader Data and Advertising
