Corrections & Updates Policy
Accuracy is our highest priority at ClearPointDispatch. We are committed to timely, transparent, and responsible error correction.
Our Approach to Corrections
-
If a factual error is identified in a published story, we will correct it as quickly as possible.
-
Corrections will be clearly noted at the bottom of the article, specifying what was changed and why.
-
If an article has been significantly updated or clarified after publication, an “Update” note will be added with the timestamp.
Example of a correction note:
Correction (Sept. 7, 2025): An earlier version of this article misstated the number of votes cast. The correct figure is 12,530.
Updates
-
Articles may be updated as new information becomes available.
-
Updates will be timestamped and include a note indicating what has changed.
-
For ongoing or breaking stories, updates may be frequent, but clarity will always be maintained.
Example of an update note:
Update (Sept. 7, 2025, 4:30 p.m. ET): This article has been updated with additional comments from city officials.
