Contributor Guidelines

We welcome diverse voices and perspectives at ClearPointDispatch. To maintain our editorial integrity and provide readers with trustworthy content, all contributors are expected to follow these guidelines.

1. Editorial Standards

  • Contributions must be original, accurate, and fact-checked before submission.

  • All claims should be supported by credible sources, with links or citations provided.

  • Content must align with our Editorial Policy — impartial, clear, and respectful.

  • Plagiarism, AI-generated articles without human oversight, or duplicate submissions will not be accepted.

  • Opinion pieces are welcome but must be clearly labeled as Opinion or Analysis.

2. Tone, Formating and Style

  • Write in clear, accessible language suitable for a broad audience.

  • Avoid jargon unless it is explained.

  • Use American English spelling and grammar.

  • Submissions should include suggested headlines and short summaries.

  • Distinguish between reporting, analysis, and opinion.

  • Opinion or commentary must be clearly labeled as such.

3. Conflicts of Interest

  • Contributors must disclose any financial, personal, or professional interests related to their submission.

  • Contributors must disclose any personal, financial, or professional relationships that could influence their reporting.

  • Articles may not serve as disguised promotions for businesses, products, or political campaigns.

  • Sponsored or branded submissions will only be accepted under our Advertising & Sponsored Content Policy.

4. Rights and Ownership

  • By submitting content, contributors grant ClearPointDispatch a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, edit, and distribute the work.

  • Contributors retain the right to republish their work elsewhere after a 30-day exclusivity period, with attribution to ClearPointDispatch as the original publisher.

5. Payment and Compensation

  • Payment terms, if applicable, will be agreed upon in writing before publication.

  • Guest submissions or op-eds may be unpaid unless otherwise specified.

6. Fact-Checking and Editing

  • All submissions are subject to editorial review.

  • Our editors may request revisions for clarity, accuracy, or compliance with our policies.

  • We reserve the right to reject submissions that do not meet our standards.

7. Corrections and Accountability

  • If errors are found after publication, they will be corrected in line with our Corrections & Updates Policy.

  • Contributors are expected to cooperate with editors in addressing such issues.

8. Prohibited Content

We do not accept:

  • Hate speech, discriminatory language, or personal attacks.

  • Content promoting misinformation, conspiracy theories, or unverified claims.

  • Material that infringes on copyrights or violates laws.

9. How to Submit

  • Send pitches or completed drafts to submissions@clearpointdispatch.com with the subject line “Contributor Submission.”

  • Include a short bio (2–3 sentences) and disclosure of any potential conflicts of interest.

  • Our editorial team reviews all submissions and may edit for clarity, accuracy, and style.
